In order to do so, the applicants will be asked to submit the following: 1. Evidence of community service, volunteering, team sports participation, or other forms of "generosity or giving to others. 2. A copy of the transcript for gpa. 3. A copy of the acceptance letter for the university/college the applicant will be attending. 4. A limited essay of 500-1,000 words to be considered. 5. Two (2) recommendation letters from teachers and/or community leaders. The $5,000 will be paid directly to the awardee, to be used for tuition, room/board, books, etc. The funds will be paid no later than june 30th. Humor is always welcome in the written essay!"
